Fighting for an iron range that works for all of us
Meet Aron Schnaser
Putting Results before Agendas

My name is Aron Schnaser and I am running for the Minnesota House in District 7A. We need a representative that represents everyone, not just the interests of the wealthy. As a science teacher, I've seen the struggles of regular people both within and outside the realm of education, and I want to make sure everyone's voices are heard.

I've taught at Greenway High School in Coleraine, Minnesota for the past nine years, and previously at Wellstone International High School in Minneapolis for three years. I am on the Leadership team for Itasca Pride, which just held its very first Pride festival. I'm also a volunteer and former liaison to Senator Tina Smith's office for Citizens Climate Lobby, a nonpartisan grassroots organization that advocates for policies that combat climate change. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Neuroscience, minoring in Natural Sciences and St Cloud State University with a BS in Chemistry Education. Between graduating from USC and obtaining my teaching credentials from SCSU, I served in AmeriCorps at the St Cloud Children's Home in St Cloud, MN.
Our current representation has turned to political ideology rather than our interests as constituents. As a result, our taxpayer funds go toward profit rather than providing the services we need, and the cost of groceries, healthcare, property taxes, housing, and transportation have skyrocketed. It is time we stop bickering and get back to working together to meet the needs of our constituents by building stronger, safer, healthier communities and a thriving economy.
I kindly ask for your support this November.
